Last October at the Air Medical Transport Conference, I had the honor of becoming
the president of AMPA and look forward to our continued success as an organization.
I would like one of my first actions to be to honor some of our legacy. On September
21, 2022, AMPA celebrated its 30th anniversary. This marks a great time for all medical
directors, assistant medical directors, flight physicians, and flight crew to express
thanks to those who took the initiative in Salt Lake City, Utah, to create our organization
for the optimization of air ambulance and critical care patient transport.
