To reflect the constantly evolving changes in health care, aviation, and safety, the
Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) strives to update
the CAMTS Accreditation Standards every 2 to 3 years. The 11th edition of the CAMTS
standards became effective in October 2018 and although the past 2 years were complicated
with pandemic challenges, the board was able to address several important changes
in the standards and approve the 12th edition at the July 2022 board meeting.
