At approximately 2000 hours, the services of a flight crew were requested to a rural location approximately 15 minutes' flying time from a metropolitan area. On arrival, the flight crew was transported by local volunteer emergency medical services (EMS) personnel to the home of a 58-year-old male patient. Although a rural locale, it was apparent the occupants of the home were wealthy individuals likely only visiting the area for a few weeks a year on vacation.
