Abstract

The authors present a brief technique guide for the application of pelvic antishock sheeting. In the hypotensive blunt trauma patient with discernible pelvic instability, this field-applicable measure may help to attain some degree of retroperitoneal hemostasis via indirect tamponade. The technique is explained and existing literature reviewed.
